Comedy Central just pist me off for the first real time. I get home from work, look at my computer, see that the History Channel has Modern Marvels (kickass show) and Comedy Central has BattleBots (another kickass show). So I turn TV Tuner on, and go to History Channel to see which it was about (AutoBahn in Germany) then go to Comedy Central. But wait, whats on? The Man Show? I'm all for shows that are based around public-safe porn like that, but I'd rather see metal bots ripping apart other wussy metal bots that are designed to look pretty but do nothing except explode and smoke every so often. Oh well, I took this as the fact that they changed the listings around, since I got the tv info from tvguide.com's listings.

So after they finish up with the Autobahn, I went back over to Comedy Central for The Daily Show. But what does John Stewart say first? "Battlebots is no more!" WTF? Battlebots owns, it has a huge fanbase, toys, video games, and is growing larger everyday. So what do they do? THEY DROPPED IT! Well, they dropped season 6 (next year), but they still have half of season 5 left. So I go to comedycentral.com, look up on their website. NOTHING about it. In their upperright corner, it says battlebots airs at 10. In their main window, it shows the man show at 10. Ok, now that they can't even update their own showtime listings is pretty stupid. So I look up on their message board about battlebots and read that they just upped and changed the time to saturdays instead (which I work almost 90% of the time) without any real advanced warnings.

WHY would comedy central drop a show that is huge and still growing, then fuck around with their fans by changing the times of when the show airs the day of when they should have shown it? Ok, I like comedy central for watching a bunch of old good movies I havn't downloaded yet or thought of getting it, for south park, the daily show, and of course, battlebots. But now they are screwing around with battlebots so much, like they are attempting to piss off the mass fanbase they created. This is like ESPN just dropping all coverage of golf after they made tiger woods as huge as he is now. It makes you wonder what the hell is going on with the executives.

We spend a few hours before and after the game tailgating. Ate lots and lots of food, had a few shots, lots of soda, ribs, hamburgers, pineapple, etc. Even got to introduce Rogers to Dan. It was the highlight of the night, then Rogers said he was getting introduced at halftime for the 20 year reunion of the 1982 Penn State National Champs team. I never knew he won a championship. From that point on, I cheered for Rogers and not Penn State, every time they scored, it was GO ROGERS.

Rogers is/was my supervisor at UPS. I have filed many grievences against him for many reasons. Another guy and me, probably got him premoted/demoted because of it. He likes me, I usually do what he asks. He isnt a bad guy, and Dan only likes him because his name, Rogers, with an s at the end. He isnt Roger, he is RogerS. Dan has his stupid voice that he does to pretend he is Rogers, so it was wonderful for Dan to actually see and meet Rogers. The best thing was, my introduction of Dan to Rogers, and then Rogers saying, Hi I'm Rogers. Dont know what Dan was thinking, but this is ALL I wanted Rogers to say. After the game, he was pretty drunk, and telling me about his life story some, showed me Curt Warner, not the Rams Quarterback. This Curt Warner was the runningback for the 1982 Penn State team, and was a Heisman runner up.

more info on Rogers Alexander: He was a 6'3" 208lbs outside linebacker for Penn State from 1982 to 1985. Was Penn State's sack leader in 1983 and 1984. Was the tackles leader in 1985. In 1986, he was drafted by the New York Jets in the 4th round, the 105th overall pick. He played for two years in the NFL for the New York Jets and New England Patriots. For the Patriots, he was number 91. I couldnt find an stats on him in the NFL or a picture.

Tomorrow I am dressing up as an airplane and running into buildings all day long on campus and at work. My goal is to piss off as many people as I can. Yes, I am a horrible monster and pray for death.

EDIT: Chris> Because of Ryan's new car, I went and took some pictures of mine. Check them out here The new ones from about 30minutes ago are DCP410 to 426. My car is a 2000 Honda Civic EX, had it since it was new two and a half years ago. Up to 40,000 miles. But I have a stereo system in mine that kicks major ass. Plus the windows being tinted super dark.

I just brought my new car home today, and about to leave for work in a few minutes. Can't find our digital camera, so no pictures yet. I might just try out my new TV-Tuner card with our video camera to make a movie of the inside/outside of it. Got all day tommorrow to have pride in my new pretty looking car. :)

The USA basketball team lost AGAIN, to make it twice in a row, now 58-2. The Kings beat the US tonight. (Yes, the Kings, not Yugoslovia or Divacs)

To show how much no one cares about the US playing in world basketball competitions, the USA finnally lost since they started sending in NBA players to compete. Now 58-1. They lost to Argentina 87-80. To bad no one really cares, other than the fact that we (the US) lost. If we had won, it would have had a 30second highlight on Sportscenter, whereas now, it will have a two minute highlight. Does this streak matter? Our best players from the NBA arent even playing. But they are still AllStar players in the game, just I wouldnt call our top five. But if you want more, follow this: More info here.
