Minority Report

Today, Ryan and I went to see Minority Report here in Florida. Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg create a good movie although I wasnt really that impressed with all the hype on the movie. Bourne Identity was a better movie, go see that instead. Cruise does an excellent job acting out his role. He fit the pre-cop description prefect. Many twists were in the movie but were somewhat predictable. The view of the future made Washington DC look like the ideal place to live without a murder in six years. When the system turns and John Anderton (Tom Cruise) is the next murderer, he runs, everybody runs. This is when the action really begins, some of it looks great, but other than the really cool gun Cruise uses at the Lexus plant, I lost intrest in the action scenes. The little spiders that were released into the building were very cool. Lexus made their special car with Cruise in it. Now why wouldnt there be more safty features in the plant so that Cruise could not be 'built' in the car and then just drive it off? Huh? Didnt make sence to me. Fast drying paint also. Yes, I paid to much attention to the cars and should be paying more attention to the action. Spielberg directs the film wonderfully. You always know what is going on, or not to know what is going on. All the shots are done correctly. I would give this a better rating, expect I didnt like the way the story was played out.. I wish it wasnt as predictable. Although I guess the story couldnt be conducted correctly without its lineup of events. Minority Report is worth seeing. Expect I think Bourne Identity is a much better movie. Minority Report is no Matrix-type movie like alot of people hyped it to be. My sister Ashley was watching some thing on MTV about Minority Report and everyone loved it. But I think every person loves every single movie MTV takes them to see, because they get to see the movie a few days before everyone else. In that way, I would think any movie I would see would be great, because I would want it to do good so I would have something to brag about when I saw it before you. The movie is worth the $6.00 it cost to get in, but I am sure next week will produce two better movies, Men in Black II and the PowerPuff Girl's movie.

Gone for a week or so.

Going to Orlando, Florida. (staying at Ian(Plat-Halo)'s house Saturday night, I think)

Leaving to go to work here soon. After work I am driving home to Waynesboro, Pa. Will get there near midnight tonight. Tomorrow at 8am, we will be heading down to Richmond, Va to visit my grandmother, then heading south. A long ass way.

I will take lots of pictures. Will have AOL in florida thanks to my brother and his notebook. So I will still be in contact, via email.

I got up early today to cheer the US on in its quest to win the World Cup, is their something they get for that? Anyway, I started watching at halftime. The score was 1-0 Germany. As I watched it seemed like the US had the upper hand. They had the ball nearly the entire second half. Germany on the other hand played defensively to keep their one goal lead. For which Germany did endup keeping to get the final score of 1-0 Germany. The US has some very very close chances on tieing the game up. One ball got passed the goalie and hit some german guy on the hand as he stood next to the post. Because it wasnt on purpose, it didnt count as a handball. His hand blocked what would have been a goal if the hand wasnt there, or the hand was back two inches. Another chance came when the german goalie when out to clear the ball, some US guy got it and lobbed it over the german goalie's head as he raced back to the goalie. The ball went left by two feet. Nearly another goal. Another chance came when the US kicked the ball and it hit the outside part of the net. Off only by feet as the german goalie looked at it. Think it was a centering kick from the side or a corner kick. Time ran out as the US could not come up with a goal. The US is out, but without playing great.

My chances with Denise Richards are over. She got married yesterday to that guy from Spin City, no, not Micheal J Fox, that other guy, the one who's dad is president on that gay show West Wing.

Denise Richards has starred in such movies as James Bond's The World is Not Enough in which she plays the outstandingly beautiful Christmas Jones, for which Christmas comes more than once a year. Starship Troopers, while not revealing anything did look really good in her outfit. She stripped down in Wild Things to play in a lesbian scene with some other famous person I think. Most recently she has starred in Undercover Brother, which I have yet to go see, but does seem to look really really good in. If I remember right, she was in the movie Valentine which Shanna made me go see (around Valentine's Dayish). Although a horrible movie, I forced myself to remember all the pretty women that were killing or getting killed in the movie. I dont remember if she dies or not, but I would like to remember that she doesnt. Think she might of even been in the pool scene.

After doing some more research on her, she was on an episode of Married with Children; or so IMDB.com has reported on her.

More info: She is 5'6" and left handed. Was a cheerleader in high school. Has lots of cats and dogs. She is 31 and her nickname is 'Fluffy Girl'. Enjoys kickboxing and beating the living hell out of some person named Dan. (NO, I AM NOT A STAKER) But I think we would be a perfect match, mostly that random beating of a Dan part; I got that done pretty good.

Terry and I went to see the Bourne Identity saturday afternoon (4:15pm to be exact). It was a great movie. One of the best movies I have seen all year. Much better than both Spiderman and Attack of the Clones. I give it 3 1/2 stars. The chick from Run Lola Run (Franke Potente) co-stars with Matt Damon. Both, I feel, did a quality job acting out their roles. They lead to very intresting characters. I wish she would have dyied her hair red to match Run Lola Run. The action shots were outstanding. I really liked then he jumped/fell down the stairs. This movie is really worth seeing. Only wish the car chase was with something better than a Mini. But the way Jason Bourne is shown to just 'know' these things is good. I just gets and the car and drives like mad or just kicks the living shit out of the cops. Well worth the $5 or more. Go see it. (dont see Scooby Doo)

He cant even take a correct poll. 2-1 for me being faster does not come out as a finished vote for him being faster. I think he is just mad that Terry said I could still beat him even with my right leg severely cramped from being kicked in the calf during basketball earlier in the day.

Yet another lame excuse thoughtout and excuted by Dan. The newest is on top of the TV right now. It is a talking picture frame with a picture of me in it. Now when you push the play button, a poor sounding voice that is trying very hard to sound like me comes out and says something about 'i am chris and I know dan can beat me in a race because he is faster than me' Unfortunately I am to lazy to really get a direct quote from it and allow him the glory of me listening to it again. So I will not allow him to enjoy his wasteful and lame attempt of proving a statement that is completely false into something that he believes to be true. Only in a weak mind could actions be thought up like that.

I will have time to finish off my movie for Dan this weekend.

This week. Went to Our Lady Peace concert at this club in town, Crowbar. It was an excellent show.

This weekend. Either going boating with Chris Sease or on a long long mountian bike ride with Jay and a few other people. (all sunday) So saturday, I am doing.. umm nothing. I hope to go boating with Sease. Going to Raystown Lake near Huntington, Pa.

Next week. I dont have to go to work. On vacation. Wednesday Night I will be playing basketball with my class against the other class. Tourney type of thing. Will be lots of fun.
