Confirming what many women have long suspected, new brain research released Tuesday shows that men give only half a mind to what they hear, listening with just one side of their brains while women use both.

In the new Indiana study, researchers used the brain scanner to study 10 men and 10 women--all healthy--as they listened to a John Grisham thriller read aloud. The fMRI scanner highlights activity in the brain by measuring high-speed changes in neural blood flow.

Jon Cooke, who runs the Unofficial Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies Page, said he had received many e-mails about the absence of Speedy from such Cartoon Network shows as the Looney Tunes Show, Acme Hour, and the Bugs and Daffy Show.

“I get e-mail from cartoon fans all over the world, and in the five years I have been running my page I have yet to receive an e-mail from anyone who finds Speedy offensive,” Cooke said.

But CN officials say the network was instructed by its owner, Ted Turner, to stop showing the Speedy cartoons because of racial stereotyping. ::EndQuote::

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Six months to the day after Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi flew planes into the World Trade Center, the Immigration and Naturalization Service notified a Venice, Florida, flight school that the two men had been approved for student visas.

I am glad to see that they are allowed in the US now. Maybe that is why they crashed the planes, they were tired of waiting for them to get visas. And as you can see from the image below, the buildings are larger and brighter than ever. (image below in the post before this one)

Would be nice to see Stern wacking Leno and Letterman's asses at Late Night. But dont know how it will work. I dont see Howard Stern leaving morning radio, and I dont think people will watch what they could have gotten on E!
